This Chinese restaurant, located right in the heart of Yaowarat, is constantly packed with customers, with tables turning over throughout the evening.. a great sign of how popular it is. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Unlike many traditional Chinese restaurants, the food wasn't oily or greasy, making the entire meal feel much lighter and more enjoyable. The service was equally impressive, friendly, attentive, and efficient. However, the 4 star is due to charging us 30 baht for refill of lettuce used to wrap the duck. We definitely overordered, but everything smelled and tasted so good that we somehow managed to finish every last bite. I highly recommend this restaurant. If possible, ask for a table on the second floor by the window. The view and atmosphere overlooking Yaowarat make the dining experience even more memorable.

Normally I go for the very traditional no AC hole in the wall dim sum spots around Yaowarat because I love the energy and authenticity, but this place offers something different. It is more modern, relaxed, air conditioned, and comfortable while still keeping a Chinatown atmosphere. The restaurant is tucked upstairs above the busy street level restaurants, and the vibe is much calmer than the usual dim sum chaos. It is the kind of place where you can actually sit down, have a conversation, and enjoy the food without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The interior was surprisingly stylish with exposed brick, chandeliers, neon signs, and a modern Chinese café feel. Bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained. Food highlights for me were: • Steamed minced pork and shrimp dumplings • Steamed minced pork and crab meat dumplings • Steamed chicken feet • Steamed pork spareribs The biggest surprise was the mango pudding dessert wraps which were excellent and definitely worth ordering. My friend who joined me does not usually like dim sum at all, but even he enjoyed the experience, which says a lot. We also ordered the beef and mixed fried rice which was solid, although the dim sum was definitely the highlight. Service was friendly and pleasant. Not luxury level service, but warm enough and perfectly good for this type of restaurant. We visited on a Sunday around 1 pm. It was busy but still felt relaxed and comfortable. The total bill came to around 2,300 THB, although almost half of that was the steak and fried rice. The dim sum itself worked out to around 1,200 THB for several dishes, which felt fair considering the atmosphere and setting. Would I come back again? Honestly, Bangkok has so many amazing dim sum spots that I would probably try somewhere new next time. But I still think this place is well worth visiting if you want a more comfortable and stylish Chinatown dim sum experience without losing the local feel.
Great spot for Chinese food, especially if you’re in the mood for dim sum. They have a dedicated dim sum menu, and that’s all we ordered, everything was super fresh and full of flavor. The standout was definitely the soup dumplings, which had a unique lemongrass twist and were absolutely delicious. There’s also a wide selection of drinks, plus a separate menu featuring dishes like duck, noodles, rice, and seafood if you’re after something more substantial. It’s a perfect choice for a relaxed lunch: cool, comfortable, and serving high-quality food. Highly recommended.
Our Thai friends hosted the welcome lunch for us, and ordered some 13 food/dim-sum items (with some repeats), including the signature Beijing roasted-duck and a popular dessert (glutinous rice-balls with black-sesame fillings, in sweet ginger-soup). All for a group of 5 diners, apparently quite a generosity overload! Luckily, "take-aways" were permitted. The food was highly enjoyable and memorable for all of us. Staff provided quiet and attentive service to all tables (place was not packed during visit, a mix of locals and tourists present). We also fully enjoyed the fun philosophical musings of "Ah Ma" (displayed prominently on the walls, nooks and corners, on premises).
Stumbled upon this place after reading high reviews and it was as good as everyone said. The fish maw super was the smoothest fish maw we’ve ever had. The broth was clear but very flavourful. The stirfry shrimp noodles had so much depth to its flavours and tasted very different. It was amazing! We saw every table get the Peking duck but felt like it was too much food for just two people. The duck did look beautiful though and it cut it up table-side for you.
