Highly recommended! The seafood was incredibly fresh, especially the steamed seabass with soy sauce—it was tender, sweet, and perfectly seasoned. The prawn paste was crispy, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavour and served fresh. Despite having many customers, the service was efficient and the food arrived quickly. Definitely worth visiting if you're looking for quality seafood in Bangkok. Will come back again!
Crazy delicious meal! 1. Steamed sea bass HK style The best seabass I've eaten. Meat is shimmering and melts in the mouth. Sauce is a tad too sweet. 2. Curry crab Seasoning is immaculate. Goes very well with rice. Crab is chunky and sweet. 3. Deep fried squid Very fresh squid. Tender and crispy. Fish sauce dip is nice, fragrant and goes well with the fried squid. 4. Prawn glass noodle Prawns were big, crunchy and fresh. Noodles tasted standard. 5. Seafood fried rice Very near perfect. Great wok hei, enough oil to coat every grain, seasoning is perfect, seafood were fresh. 6. Chendol Tad too sweet. Pandan noodles were not-bad.
Love this place for lunch. Everything we tried was delicious, and you can really taste the freshness of the seafood in every dish. The ingredients felt high quality, well prepared, and full of flavor without being overly heavy. The sauces were also a standout — rich, flavorful, and perfect with the seafood. Service was polite, attentive, and surprisingly quick even during busy hours, which made the whole experience very smooth and enjoyable. The mango sticky rice was the perfect way to finish the meal and honestly one of the best I’ve had. Great balance of sweetness, texture, and fresh mango. Overall, a fantastic seafood spot with fresh food, great flavors, and very reliable service.
This is a must visit restaurant whenever we are in bangkok. Kungthong Seafood Rama 4 and sure glad it did not disappoint. We walked about 20–25 minutes from our hotel near Phrom Phong BTS, a very pleasant walk, passing a few interesting spots along the way. It was 10 January, and the weather was surprisingly good even at noon, which made the walk enjoyable. As usual, we ordered our favourite wing bean salad. Loved the ingredients and especially the freshness of the wing beans crunchy and vibrant. The mid-joint chicken wings never fail us; they’re always fresh (not frozen) and remain an all-time favourite. This time, we also tried the oyster omelette. It’s not usually our go-to dish, but it was superbly fresh, light, and not oily at all. We also had the glass noodle claypot with prawns, very tasty, and the prawns were fresh and well-cooked. There were just two of us, so we couldn’t order more, but the total bill came to about 1,000 baht, which we find very reasonable for the quality. Good food, fresh ingredients, fair pricing, don’t miss this place. We’ll definitely be back again.
