Visited during The Art of Kimoto | A Maruto Sake Experience, and it was a fantastic dining experience. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious, while the sake pairings complemented the food perfectly. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. A memorable evening :)

Excellent place for romantic dinner. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Food also very good. Salmon pizza and Taco are the must. Both are extraordinary. Presentation also well done. Dessert also very good even there's not a lot. We try only 1 cocktail which is strong but well balanced. We both have splendid experience there. Reasonable (expensive) price though but totally worth it. 👍

A truly exceptional dining experience from start to finish. I opted for the set menu along with a selection of additional dishes, and every single item exceeded expectations. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and each dish was crafted with incredible attention to detail and balance of flavors. Every bite was rich, refined, and beautifully presented—clearly showcasing both creativity and precision in the kitchen. The taste was consistently remarkable across the entire meal, making it one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-tier cuisine, impeccable quality, and a truly elevated gastronomic experience. Absolutely deserving of five stars.

Akira Back ... We visited this place for a Japanese dinner, and the standout dish was definitely the pizza—it was excellent in both flavor and texture. The dishes complemented each other nicely, making the overall meal feel well-balanced. The maki rolls were also very good, and some items were so enjoyable that we ordered them twice. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive and regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Akira Back at the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park is one of my absolute favorite spots in Bangkok. We’ve been coming here since the first week it opened and it has become my go-to for everything. I’ve hosted many dinners here, including my birthday party last year, and the food is always incredible. I was a huge fan of Yellowtail at the Bellagio when I lived in Las Vegas, so I was thrilled to hear Chef Akira was opening a restaurant in Bangkok. The space is beautiful with comfortable seating whether you are a couple or a small group. There are also a few seats at the counter and some amazing private rooms, including one that can hold 24 people. The views in that room are the best! The food is awesome. The tuna pizza is a must have and the AB tacos are to die for. They are my daughter’s absolute favorite. The wagyu short ribs and jidori chicken are both hits, and the sushi menu is excellent and very fresh. I especially like their signature rolls. I don’t eat brussel sprouts but several of my friends say it’s a must order side dish. Honestly I’ve never had anything I don’t like here and I’ve tried a large portion of the menu. The view is amazing from the top of the Marriott Marquis and the staff is very friendly and attentive. They even greet regulars by name. The ambience is perfect whether it is a family dinner, date night, business meeting, or just a night out with friends. This is a true hidden gem in Bangkok and I can’t recommend it enough.
