Description
With an action-packed itinerary in store, the tour will start with swinging by a few of Bangkok’s most-loved attractions. These include the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha because of the enormous statue inside. Stroll around the old city of Bangkok. The only place to rival it is your first stop, Wat Pho. This ancient temple is home to over 1,000 Buddha statues, one of which measures more than 150 feet in length. Next, see the sights along the Chao Phraya River on a traditional riverboat. We’ll explore the bejeweled Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). This 300-year-old temple is known for its enormous white chedi inlaid with thousands of colorful mosaic pieces. Located at the banks of the Chao Phraya River, this temple is a magnificent landmark seen around the city. Cross the river via the traditional boat again and walk to Pak Klong Talad, the city’s largest flower market overflowing with garlands, bouquets, pot plants, and fresh fruit. Whether you browse or pick up some fresh flowers to decorate your hotel room, this unique spot is a hidden gem in the capital. For the final treat of the tour, we will ride a tuk-tuk and go to Bangkok Chinatown. This area is famous for its bustling atmosphere and foodie haunts. Feel free to grab a bite to eat or simply explore the area.Includes
