Taste of India Bangkok really gave me that comforting, home-style feeling I was hoping for. The dishes had authentic Indian flavors without being overly oily or heavy, and everything felt fresh and well made. I also appreciated the polite, welcoming attitude from the staff. It’s the kind of place I’d happily return to when I’m craving something familiar and satisfying.
One of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was delicious, but the Tikka Masala Curry, Tandoori Chicken, and Cheese Naan were especially outstanding. The curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tandoori chicken was juicy, tender, and full of authentic spices. The cheese naan was warm, soft, and generously filled with cheese, making it the perfect match for the curry. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and memorable Indian food. I will definitely come back again! 😊
Food was okay. I ordered a thali. The paneer was too much spicy, rest of the items was tasting very similar. Over all I won’t say bad but average food which could be tried once. Staff never replied anything - no reply to hello, thanks or good bye or even asking some question always used a sign language with no expressions. May be they don’t speak the language I spoke to them. Not their fault but this could be improved. The place is in the middle of chaos, too noisy. I would never go in the evening. Go for lunch if you rally want to go there. The way to go to this ola e is also quite something, passes through a bar 😅
We had an amazing experience. As someone with celiac disease, it can be hard to find safe gluten free food- so this restaurant was a relief to find! The owner took our order and told me his daughter is celiac so he understands the precautions needed to avoid cross contamination and make safe gluten free food. He said they can make almost anything gluten free- including appetizers like pakora in fresh oil! I had the vegetable pakoras which were incredible, with a selection of sauces which are also GF. I had the chicken korma curry with rice which was incredible. The flavours were amazing and they were very generous portions. I wish I was staying in Bangkok longer so we could come back again!!
delicious traditional indian flavours. samosa chaat is one of the best i’ve ever had. they give very big portions making it definitely worth the price. i also had chapati, gobi manchurian, butter paneer and cucumber dehy, all delicious. the masala tea is exactly how my family make it at home so i loved it! service is quick and very friendly. would 100% recommend! ordered a lot because menu options are so good! they packaged it up for me nicely to take away afterwards. thank you :)
