Shogun
Bangkok
The Dusit Thani Bangkok features several excellent restaurants and Shogun does not break the mould. Shogun is quietly tasteful with dark wooden beams the most eye catching feature of the dining area, in an otherwise minimalistic room.
Located on the second floor of the elegant establishment the restaurant enjoys unrivalled views of luscious Lumpini Park, which provides a perfect distraction from the noise and pollution usually associated with views of Bangkok.
Shogun has been a favourite for many years among Bangkok tourists and Dusit Thani guests which is testament to their commitment to quality ingredients, skilled chefs and timeless authentic Japanese dishes.
Set menus are available for lunch and dinner services, with both having an emphasis on sushi. A couple of highlights are a variety of raw fish served on rice balls and classic rolls such as crab stick and asparagus.
But just because Shogun offers a fine dining experience does not mean there is no flair to be seen. Several traditional Teppanyaki tables are featured and it is both enjoyable and sociable to see a highly skilled chef cook your meal in front of your eyes.
