Queen Sirikrit Museum of Textiles is a marvelous museum to go to in order to get acquainted with the culture and identity of Thailand. The museum is located on the Grand Palace grounds in the heart of Bangkok. The place will charm you with the diversity of the collected and preserved textiles coming from Southeast Asia, East and South Asia.
The museum has lovely galleries and many modern facilities such as lobby and education center, a lecture hall and a library, as well as a conservation laboratory for textiles. The opening hours of the museum are between 9am and 4.30pm with last admission being at 3.30 pm. If you have an entry to the Grand Palace, you do not need a ticket for the Queen Sirikrit Museum of Textiles.
