Had an exceptional breakfast at Chon Thai Restaurant at The Siam Hotel in Bangkok. The à la carte selection is plentiful. The décor is traditional Thai, and the atmosphere has great, relaxing vibes especially the semi-outdoor area, where a pleasant breeze passes through, making the seating very enjoyable. The food is tasty and satisfying, with excellent presentation. As for the staff, they are extraordinarily professional and warm.
Dining at Chon Thai Restaurant felt like discovering a quieter, more elegant side of Bangkok. Located inside The Siam Hotel along the Chao Phraya River, the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful — especially during sunset when the river slowly reflected the evening lights. What I loved most was how peaceful and refined the experience felt. The heritage-style architecture, candlelight, and riverside setting created a truly romantic atmosphere that made the entire dinner feel special. It is the kind of place where you naturally slow down and enjoy the moment. The menu focuses on authentic Thai cuisine presented in a refined way, and I also appreciated that they offer vegetarian options as well. Service throughout the evening was warm, attentive, and very polished. A wonderful choice for date nights, anniversaries, or anyone looking to experience Thai dining in one of the most beautiful riverside settings in Bangkok.
