BTS Station Mo Chit N8
Bangkok
For first-time visitors, or even veteran tourists, navigating around Bangkok can be a pretty overwhelming prospect. However, the city's BTS system takes the hassle and stress of public transport. It is an elevated train system that connects the city through 32 stations along two lines: the Silom and Sukhmvit line. Mo Chit Station is one of the busiest BTS stations and a perfect stop if you like shopping and markets. It is right next to Chatuchuk Weekend Market, one of the biggest and most famous markets in the world. Next to the station there is also the Tor Kor Market and the beautiful Bangkok Butterfly Garden.
All BTS stations are well located for tourist activities in the city and many have a tourist information office in stations.
A single journey ticket costs between 15 and 40 Baht depending on the destination. Alternatively, a one-day unlimited pass is 130 Baht. There are also weekly and monthly options.
