The Firehouse
Bangkok
The recently opened Bangkok Burger Restaurant was the idea of an expat from Hawaii based in Thailand, who missed the tastes of home now and serves burgers to rival any American diner. The name Firehouse was chosen in honour of firefighters, who they feel are the bravest and most hard working people in the world. They have a collection of antique fire memorabilia and photos displayed in a replica style firehouse building.
The menu was compiled with the help of a chef in San Diego, to create the most authentic tasting burgers. The three main options on the menu are Thai-French beef, Black Angus beef and The Sliders (three little burgers!) All the burgers are homemade and cooked as comfort foods in bar style dishes. They are custom made and juicy to perfection. They also serve fish and chips if you are feeling more of a British nostalgia.
They have also introduced a new menu inspired by real firefighters such as the Texas Hot Chilli, Pulled Pork sandwiches, Mac 'N' Cheese and Junkyard Hot Dog.
They also feature a wide selection of cold draught beers as well as a selection of wines in all price ranges. If you are after something a little more fancy with your meal, they also have attentive and friendly staff who will gladly make you a cocktail.
