Wow!! Extraordinary Chinese cuisine. First time here, and it’s was awesome with a whole journey. Foods were amazing from the first dish to last. Ha Gao was second to none. Barbecue pork is by far the best in tier. Thank you Khun Art and Chef Matthew for the nice touch and hospitality. The service were exceptional as well, special shout out to khun F and Pat for taking care of us. Definitely comeback!!

After my first visit, Nan Bei has become my favourite Chinese restaurant in Bangkok. It is hard to find another on my list that can compete with Nan Bei. The dining environment is eye-catching and elegant, with sophisticated old-money vibes. The dining standards are clearly established from the moment you are greeted. We chose the set lunch menu, which allowed us to try a variety of dishes. The ingredients were fresh, and each dish delivered high-quality flavours with beautifully balanced textures, bringing real joy to the dining experience, made even better by the stunning city views. Every detail felt thoughtfully measured and beautifully presented. Our waiter, James, was professional and highly attentive, contributing greatly to the fine dining experience with genuine care and effort. I highly recommend Nan Bei to anyone looking for a beautiful dining experience in Chinese cuisine, excellent service, lovely city views, and the simple pleasure of immersing themselves in great vibes.
Excellent service and a great, lively vibe right in the heart of the city — this place feels polished, energetic, and comfortable all at once. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the dining experience and the presentation. The food leans beautifully into modern fusion rather than traditional, which I really appreciated. My favorite was the rice noodle crispy rolls topped with shrimp and caviar — a fun contrast of textures, with the crunch of the roll, the bounce of the shrimp, and a subtle briny pop from the caviar. It feels playful yet refined. Other dishes followed the same creative direction: the dumplings were delicate and silky, the soup was comforting with layers of depth rather than just heat or sourness, and the shrimp with greens had a glossy, well-balanced sauce that felt contemporary rather than old-school. Overall, it’s a great spot if you enjoy elevated, inventive Asian flavors in a stylish setting — not strictly traditional, but very thoughtful, well-executed, and memorable.
Exceptional service above and beyond. We had lunch here today after our wedding and everything was perfect. Great atmosphere, scrumptious food and amazing service by knowledgeable staff. Can’t thank them all enough for everything. Huge thanks to Miss F and Amm and Mr. Boon.
