At the heart of Bangkok, a very unique hotel restaurant delivers a contrast of flavours that you would never usually associate with one another. A Danish management team and local Thai staff create a blend of Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian dishes, infused with authentic local Thai cuisine, taking inspiration from the surrounding regions of Thailand. There are two restaurants located on the grounds of the hotel; the main restaurant is inside, decorated in traditional Thai style with wooden furniture, stained lampshades, unique antiques, and is fully air conditioned. Outside a poolside restaurant gives diners a choice to be seated on the extended terrace, or the garden which is parallel to the swimming pool; despite being in the city centre the garden area has a tropical and tranquil ambiance.
There are two menus available; a simplified menu offers basic steaks, pizzas, pastas, and sweet treats for a less adventurous guest. The second menu is far more extensive, serving a selection of Scandinavian dishes, and traditional Thai cuisine from their experienced chef. At the weekends a special Scandinavian Smorgaas buffet allows guests to indulge in fine European food, in an Asian setting. The restaurant is open all day including breakfast where classic hearty American style dishes are available and also a Thai alternative, 'Khao Thom Gai'.
