Came here at the recommendation of a colleague and was very impressed with the food and drinks. Not only is it very authentically Indian (as endorsed by my Indian colleague), but it was very tasty as well! I even got to try some things I never did before like a Jal Jeera drink! A little salty, but very refreshing considering Bangkok's hot weather and the very savoury dishes we ordered (ranging from butter chicken to egg curry). Our other dishes were also very well executed and we all had a great time munching down :) The only real thing I can ding this place for is that its quite expensive for Bangkok. 4 of us here chomped our way down to THB 2.6k, which is quite a lot considering we didn't get that many meat heavy dishes. Overall though, I'd say this is still a good place for Indian food, though I think I'll probably restrict it to special occasions as it is very pricey.
Best North Indian food in town. Mutton briyani was on point. And dont leave without dessert. Ram our waiter was super friendly and supportive and guided us really well through our entire food journey.
Had a great experience at Amritsar Hotel. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the mutton curry and naan, which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The quality and taste really stood out. A special thanks to Raju for the excellent service. He was very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and tasty food!😍😍😍😍
My friend’s who live here had been before, so they brought me along. You know it’s a good place when you see a lot of Indian families dining there. We ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka butter, chicken saag paneer, and chicken biryani, plus I had a buttermilk drink. The naan was disappointing - very thin and dry but the curries and biryani were flavorful and the chicken was tender. There was also a yogurt and cilantro side that tasted sour/off to my friend; the waiter explained it was normal due to the yogurt and kindly replaced it, though no one ended up eating it. Unfortunately, about 12 hours after eating, I developed symptoms consistent with food poisoning, including indigestion, stomach cramps, constant burping, nausea, vomiting, and a fever of 100.9F/38.3C. I was the only one in my group who had the buttermilk drink, so this appears to be the cause.
Lovely atmosphere fantastic good service. We would like to thank our waiter Mr Sonu who was so attentive and helpful. The food was very authentic tasty and very very good. The chef Mr Rakesh Singh did a fantastic job. Without a doubt Bangkok's best Indian restaurant h highly recommend
