Bangkok: Talad Noi Hidden Gems & Street Food Adventure
28 ReviewsOn a Bangkok walking tour explore and snack your way through Bangkok’s trendy Talad Noi neighbourhood. Be blown away by the blend of Thai-Chinese street food, history, and culture.
The Royal Oak has taken over the venue that was once known as the Bull’s Head – although nothing has changed too much. For the regulars, this is of course a good thing. The food is still decent pub grub; decent portions are served quickly, like burgers, egg, ham and chips, spaghetti Bolognese and an impressively British Ploughman’s lunch.

Drinks deals are frequent, and on Sundays you can even ‘toss the boss’ – flip a coin with the bar tender to see if you have to actually pay for your drink – although beware of the Monday morning hangover! Thursday’s offer is 2-for-1 cocktails (and ladies night), while happy hour arrives every day between 4 and 8pm, as well as 11.30pm til close.
Sports play a big part in the day to day life at the Royal Oak, and all the big matches can be caught on the big screen upstairs.
Music focuses on British and punk classics, which appeals to the ex-pat crowd.

10am-1am every day
