Wan Fah Dinner Cruise

Bangkok

River Cruises

A dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River is a must-do activity in Bangkok. The Wan Fah dinner cruise is ideal for backpackers looking to experience a little culture, as the prices are relatively low. A two hour cruise from 7 - 9pm (including a basic Thai meal) will allow you to soak in the sights of The Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Royal Barges National Museum, all whilst enjoying a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere.

Music and traditional Thai dancers provide the entertainment, and the boat itself is a sight to see. You will learn about Thai history and culture thanks to your hosts, and can relax to observe the beautiful sunset cast a warm glow over the Bangkok skyline, where history and modernity meet. The experience is not the ultimate luxury as facilities and provisions are basic, but it's the best low-budget way to see the city from a different angle.
