I had dinner there and it was delicious. The green curry wrapped in roti, the shrimp stir fried in chilies, and the Suraya noodles were delicious. I’m definitely going back and will add this restaurant to a must-visit place when I have guests who want good Thai food in a cute atmosphere. The waiter was also very attentive, service minded. The atmosphere was also homey and nice. All round a positive and recommended restaurant.
Excellent staff, delicious food. The servers and staff were outstanding the night I went to eat here. Did not stay at the hostel, cannot comment there.
Absolutely loved this place! Suraya Bangkok Hostel & Kitchen is such a gem — amazing food, super cool vibe, and one of the best nights of sleep I had in Bangkok. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, feels more like hanging out with friends than staying in a hostel. Would 100% come back just for the food and the vibe. Highly recommended!
I only went here for dinner and it was fantastic! I was specifically searching for pineapple shrimp curry which was harder to find in Chiang Mai. The service was great and the decor was just beautiful. I love birds, so the artwork was a fun surprise for me. The lemon violin was delicious. I'll be back and I'd definitely look at staying there next time.
We didn’t stay here. I’m just reviewing the food, which was OUTSTANDING. All vegan. Definitely Thai ingredients and flavours but presented with flair and a twist. A small light room with maybe 16 covers, the walls hand-painted with local birds. Three very attentive waiters. The food delivered through a hatch in one wall. So good! Best we ate in Bangkok.
