O'Reilly's Irish Pub
Bangkok
Pubs and Bars
Recently celebrating its 15th birthday, O’Reilly’s replicates a traditional Irish bar and has become a popular establishment, particularly for ex-pats who crave a little taste of home. It’s in a great location, near the Silom night market, so there’s plenty to entertain you in the area.
The pub is owned by the Bangkok Leisure Group (although this has not always been the case), who provide relaxing, friendly venues and European food and beverages. The prices match those in Europe – so if you are expecting Thai prices you may be in for a shock. That said, it’s worth it if you want a break from Thai food.
Live music is a regular occurrence, including the ‘Thai Beatles’ who are a major crowd pleaser. Every Wednesday sees the punters get rowdy during the pub quiz, and sporting events draw in the crowds for big matches.
