The Dubliner
Bangkok
In May 2013, The Dubliner achieved something quite remarkable, it relocated to its new premises on Sukhumvit Soi 33/1 from just across the road and managed to maintain all the things that previously made it great, such as the truly warm Irish warm welcome and the exceptional standard of service except now it is a brand new building.
At The Dubliner, the drink, atmosphere and menu make this the premier spot good for old-fashioned drinking with family and friends. Visitors should note that the Dubliner won Metro magazine's Best Bangkok Pub 2000, for its high quality food, and it was the youngest venue to receive the award, meaning that this isn't just another watering hole. The Dubliner completely prides itself on being distinct from any other bar in the capital. With both Irish stout and Irish people, mixed in with locals, this is unique.
The Dubliner also has a pool table and big screen TVs to show a range of international sports every evening. Thrown in with tall wooden tables and stools for those who 'miss leaning against the bar'. They also have shelves of books and magazines and quilted leather sofas for people to relax on during the day. At night they liven up the atmosphere with live music and spontaneous dancing in the bar.
In addition to being a thoroughly enjoyable bar, the Dubliner has another unique feature, it has its own B&B hotel with all new building with rooms and suites available at very reasonable rates for the central location.
