The Huntsman has been renovated to have a very British feel about it with wooden paneled bar, low level lighting, wooden chairs and traditional beer paraphernalia on the walls – this is a taste of the home counties in central Bangkok. Serving good food in a nice atmosphere.
The Huntsman specialises in ice-cold draught beer but also serves professionally mixed cocktails if you fancy something sweeter. There are nightly ‘All you can Drink’ special deals on all standard drinks behind the bar from 21:00 till close. Obviously these nights are always making headlines and given the capacity is only small, grab a table early. The pub also has a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ Happy Hour, which does not run only for an hour, or even two. Happy Hour is extended from open to close.
The menu of food includes British favourites such as Irish stew, grilled flank steak, lasagne or caesar salad. But the Sunday roast is often the food that is on most people’s lips as it is, as you would expect, hard to source a decent roast dinner in Asia. You best leave room for dessert, as the apple pie and traditional bread and butter pudding is not worth leaving without.
The pub is often frequented by expats in large groups as all international sporting events are shown on their big screen TVs and there is also live music and a house band who play to any size crowd on a daily basis.
Opening Times: Monday-Sunday, 11:30 – 02:00
