Brick Bar

A new trendy spot on the backpacker friendly Khao San Road, the Brick Bar is a fun-filled addition to the area. Playing three live music sets a night, it is popular with the locals as well as the tourists. Located at the back of the Buddy Hotel, the Brick Bar is (quite obviously) make of bricks and decorated with an Old Western vibe, making it a unique little find with a small selection of artwork and rustic wood, the big wooden tables reminding you of a mediaeval banquet hall.

Serving spirits and beers, it is an escape from the buckets and chaos of Khao San Road’s typical bars and tourists. With three bands a night, the bar prides itself on its live music. (Though the place fills up pretty quickly, so if you want a seat for a set, get there early). With two levels, the place holds up to 1,200 people on a busy night. Tucked away in nooks and crannies are secluded, cushioned areas as well as a foosball and pool table.
