Description
Experience an ethical elephant sanctuary where you can learn about rescued elephants and observe their natural behavior in a peaceful forest environment. There is no riding, shows, or bathing, allowing the elephants to live freely and comfortably. Gain insight into elephant welfare and sustainable tourism before returning to Bangkok with a memorable experience.
Morning
09:00 – 09:30 Arrive at the elephant sanctuary, check in, complete travel insurance forms and change your clothes.
09:45 – 10:00 Welcome speech, introduction to sanctuary rules and activity briefing.
10:00 – 10:50 Guided walk around the elephant shelters, learn the unique life story of each elephant.
10:50 – 11:10 Prepare fresh food and make herbal medicine balls by yourself to support the elephants’ digestive systems.
11:10 – 11:40 Feed the elephants closely, watch them enjoy their natural mud bath freely.
(However, if the elephants are full or do not want to take the food for any other reason, we will not force them. Also, if the weather is too cold and the elephants do not want to enter the mud pool, we will not force them.)
11:40 – 11:50 Short break and prepare for lunch.
11:50 – 12:20 Enjoy delicious Thai set lunch at Bamboo Restaurant.
12:30 Finish the wonderful experience and return to your hotel.
Afternoon
13:00 – 13:30 Arrive at the elephant sanctuary, Enjoy delicious Thai set lunch at Bamboo Restaurant.
13:45 – 14:00 Check in, complete travel insurance forms, change your clothes and enjoy your lunch.
14:00 – 14:15 Welcome speech, introduction to sanctuary rules and activity briefing.
14:15 – 14:55 Guided walk around the elephant shelters, learn the unique life story of each elephant.
14:55 – 15:25 Prepare fresh food and make herbal medicine balls which are good for the elephant’s digestive system for the elephants by yourself.
15:25 – 15:55 Feed the elephants closely, watch them enjoy their natural mud bath freely.
(However, if the elephants are full or do not want to take the food for any other reason, we will not force them. Also, if the weather is too cold and the elephants do not want to enter the mud pool, we will not force them.)
16:00 Finish the wonderful experience and back to your hotel.
