Description

At Kame Homu Studio in Bangkok, you’ll step into a welcoming creative space and experience what it’s like to craft jewelry from raw materials with your own hands. After a friendly introduction from the studio team, you’ll get to know the sterling silver you’ll be working with and the essential tools used in ring making. With clear, beginner-friendly guidance throughout, you’ll move through each stage of the process at a comfortable pace while learning the fundamentals behind how a ring is formed. You’ll begin by measuring your finger and selecting the right size, then start shaping the silver as you learn how to cut, form, and refine the metal. Your instructor will demonstrate how to handle tools such as hammers and pliers, explaining how each one helps you control the shape and surface of the ring. As you progress, you’ll see the metal transform from a simple piece of silver into a ring that reflects your personal style. You’ll also learn how heat is used in jewelry making to help form and strengthen the piece, with safety guidance and hands-on support from the team. Once the ring has its final shape, you’ll focus on the finishing work—smoothing, refining, and polishing the surface to bring out a clean shine. The studio atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, making it easy to ask questions, try techniques, and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your ring come together step by step. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a completed ring and a memorable, hands-on experience that captures a special moment from your time in Bangkok. Staff can also assist with taking photos and videos using your own device during the session so you can document the process from start to finish.
