The Bangkok Paradise tour offers a full-day bicycle adventure that takes you to an undiscovered and unseen part of Bangkok, even for local people. The tour avoids the main streets and instead explores the maze of narrow alleys, small pathways, and elevated concrete bicycle lanes that give Bangkok its unique character.
During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to witness the daily life of local people as you pass by. The journey is adorned with orchids, banana, papaya, and mango trees, creating a picturesque environment where time seems to have stood still. In addition to the natural beauty, the tour includes visits to hidden temples, adding cultural and spiritual elements to the experience. To enhance the adventure even further, the tour includes an unforgettable canoe or kayak ride through the canals.
We start with a pickup from your Bangkok hotel to our office/lounge located on Rama III Road in Bangkok, where you'll select your bicycle and receive instructions for the day. After approximately 30 minutes of cycling, you'll arrive at the local fresh market in the Phrapadaeng district, where you'll encounter a diverse array of goods, ranging from smoked pig heads to beautiful flowers.
Continuing on, you'll cycle through small communities until you reach a 'Golden Temple,' where you'll make a stop and have the opportunity to explore its remarkable interior and learn more about its significance.
The journey continues along canals, offering serene views of the lush green surroundings, until you reach the boat-shop. Here, you'll select a canoe or kayak, preparing for the next level of your adventure.
Kayaking through the canals of Bangkok's Bangkhuntian district adds a unique element to the day trip. As Bangkok's southernmost district, it reaches the Gulf of Thailand and is characterized by numerous canals, prawn, crab, and fish farms. The area is home to a diverse range of animals, including at least 60 species of birds. If you're lucky and observant, you may spot kingfisher birds and even a redback eagle (Brahminy Kite).
