Description
This popular canal trip visits Bangkok’s West Bank, an area over 200 years old. The tour includes a boat stop near the Largest Buddha statue in Bangkok (viewed from the boat only, no temple entry). You will then walk through Baan Sillapin - Bangluang village, located between Wat Kampeng and Wat Kuhasawan temples.
Experience traditional river canal life by seeing wooden houses and local daily activities. The tour is guided by a local expert who lives in the area, providing insight into the community’s history and real lifestyle.
The entire activity lasts about 2 hours from check-in to tour end but may extend due to water levels or watergate operations. You will hop off at Klong Bangluang Canal village for exploration.
Note that the meeting and drop-off point is a busy area. This tour is not suitable for travelers with tight schedules. Allow 3-5 extra hours before any flight, bus, or train departures after the tour.
