Meet your guide at the Golden Place, then proceed to the Grand Palace. Admire the exquisite Thai architecture and intricate details, including the Emerald Buddha carved from a single block of jade, housed in Wat Phra Kaew.
Observe the golden chedis, vibrant murals, and grand ceremonial halls. The Grand Palace features a blend of traditional Thai and European architectural styles, notably in the Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, used for state occasions.
Visit Wat Pho, home of the Reclining Buddha. See the 46-meter-long and 15-meter-high golden statue, with feet inlaid with mother-of-pearl and adorned with auspicious symbols. Explore stupas and murals depicting Buddha’s life and Thai mythology.
Take a short ferry ride across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun. The temple is renowned for its riverside location and ornate design, especially impressive at sunset when illuminated. Climb the steep central tower for views of the river and city skyline, and explore the decorated gardens and smaller prangs.
The Grand Palace ticket includes access to the Khon Performance Dance at Sala Chalermkrung Theater. Your guide will provide the tickets after the tour, valid for one of the daily shows held Monday to Friday at 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4:00 pm.
