What an amazing find! Love this place. Great cocktails (especially the Elephant Elixir, which might be one of my favourite cocktails ever). Lovely friendly staff. Such a fun place, super quirky, with a sloped floor because it used to be a car ramp. They've made the most of it, using it to roll a bowling ball as a method to mix their cocktails. Very chill, relaxing place, with super comfortable seating and really good music (There's a DJ booth). Great place to escape the heat and chaos below and enjoy a rooftop breeze.
This is a great hidden gem, right next to the main road at China Town. It is easy to find, just go to the side street into the big building by following the pin. You will have a supermarket and KFC on your left, but you turn right instead. You will see an elevator on your right, take that to the 10th floor. When you arrive, turn right again and at the very end you will see the sign of the rooftop bar Hannibal. The deep house music and acoustic is incredible in this venue. There are not so many tables, which made it feel more exclusive even. The views are great and really has an underground feel in this bar. The drinks are really high though, so it is not really a place to order multiple cocktails honestly.
We visited the Hannibal hidden rooftop bar in Bangkok and absolutely loved the ambiance and overall atmosphere. The skyline views were incredible and the space had a very hip, stylish vibe that made it a fun place to hang out. It felt like a great spot to relax, enjoy the view, and soak in the energy of the city. While the cocktails were not a hit for our group, it honestly did not take away from the experience. Our party of six Americans did not really care for the mixed drinks, but we were enjoying the vibe so much that it did not matter. The DJ was excellent and helped create a cool, upbeat environment throughout the night. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for the views and atmosphere. If you go, I would suggest sticking with beer and enjoying the music, the scene, and the skyline. It is a very cool spot to spend an evening in Bangkok.
HANNIBAL Hidden Rooftop Bar in Chinatown is a must-visit! You find this great rooftop bar inside an old parking garage, it offers a unique, intimate vibe with incredible views over Bangkok’s Chinatown. The sloped floor adds charm, and the bowling ball cocktails are a fun twist you can’t miss. The menu is small but creative, with standout drinks like the smoky HANNIBAL’s Blood and the spicy Fata Morgana. Bar bites are surprisingly tasty and perfect for sharing. Friendly staff and live DJ sets from 8 PM complete the experience. Easy to reach via Wat Mangkon MRT station. Reservations recommended due to limited space. Oh my gosh wow what a place I love these hidden bars that Bangkok has started and this was definitely a hidden bar that’s truly shouldn’t be hidden!! I guess if it wasn’t hidden it would be inundated with people because this is a beautiful bar! We had a really nice time although we were here on the day that there was no alcohol being served so we ended up just having a soda water and a mock tail! Which was completely fine because the incredible view the ambience at this place the ladies were so nice the ones that work there the servers they were super sweet! I love this vibe I will definitely be back and the guy who is playing the music I wish I had got his name but it was such awesome music. The music that he was playing made you feel like you were not in this world it was just the way that you could just kick back relax and just listen and have a great drink and the big sky view was amazing we could see the moonlight and also there was someone doing fireworks that night it was Tuesday! Highly recommended to find this little secret hidden gem and enjoy an absolute pure blissful evening!! I will be back to try the food!
