Stayed at Vela be Bangkok Siam recently and had a very pleasant experience overall. One of the things I appreciated most was the location. Although the hotel is situated near the end of an alley, it actually works in its favor as there is significantly less traffic noise compared to hotels located directly on the main road. Despite being tucked away, it remains very convenient — about a 6-minute walk to National Stadium BTS Station, around 10 minutes to Ratchathewi BTS Station, and roughly 10 minutes to the popular Banthat Thong Road, making it easy to get around and explore Bangkok. The stay also includes complimentary breakfast served daily from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast selection was sufficient to start the day before heading out for sightseeing. As for the room, it was comfortable and adequately sized for two people. The bed was comfortable, and the sound insulation was acceptable, allowing for a relatively peaceful night's sleep without being disturbed by outside noise. Overall, Vela be Bangkok Siam offers good value for money, especially for travellers looking for a convenient location, a quieter environment, and a comfortable stay in the heart of Bangkok.
The location is unbeatable, and it’s rare to find rooms this clean and well-maintained at such great value right in the heart of Siam. A special mention goes to Ko Ko, who took care of our room. His housekeeping was exceptional, everything was kept spotless and perfectly organised every single day. Coming back to such a fresh, tidy space after a long day out truly made a difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. It’s hard to imagine finding better value for money than this!
Great location, staff were friendly and spoke English which is great for foreigners. Hotel is clean and close the BTS National Stadium & Banthat Thong Road. It is still a walk to Siam and BTS however one could just grab/bolt bike anywhere. No complains for the price point. Would return for a stay here :) To add: they have a 24/7 check in/out service in case your flight is within odd hours
Perfect for our stay in BKK! The room was slightly small but that was not a problem for us at all. Location was very convenient and quiet! We were also close to many many great food options! Room was cleaned and made nearly everyday:)! Staff were really helpful and provided excellent service! Highly recommend!
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. Although the room wasn’t very large, the space was well-designed and functional. The bathroom was nicely laid out with a clear separation between the wet and dry areas, and the shower had its own door, so water didn’t splash out — which I really appreciated. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay, making everything smooth and comfortable. The only downside is that the room is not soundproof at all. You can hear doors from other rooms opening and closing very loudly. This was especially noticeable in the afternoon when housekeeping was cleaning the rooms, making it almost impossible to rest during the day. However, during the night, when there’s less movement in the hallway, it wasn’t an issue. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you’re not too sensitive to noise. It would be even better if the soundproofing could be improved.
