The hotel is located in a commercial complex, so there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. The gym and swimming pool are in another building nearby, so be aware of that. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. They offer a late checkout for 50% of your nightly rate, and they also offer driver services to various places in Bangkok (like BKK and DMK) as well as day trips to places outside Bangkok (like Pattaya and Ayuttaya) With it being very close to a BTS station (Chong Nonsi), and for the price you pay, this is absolutely a hotel worth staying at while you’re in Bangkok!
Staying at Trinity Silom Hotel worked out well for me overall because the location is very convenient, and having a great restaurant right next door was a nice bonus. A couple of things did stand out, though: the security deposit felt a bit high for just one night, and the elevator is really slow and quite small. Even so, it was still a solid choice for the area.
Spacious rooms and excellent transit access, with a unique breakfast setup Pros: Getting Here: Very easy to reach directly from the airport using the Airport Rail Link (ARL) and connecting to the BTS. Location: Excellent spot, just a 5-minute walk from BTS Chong Nonsi station. There is also a McDonald's within easy walking distance. Rooms: Fantastic, very spacious, and exactly as shown in the online photos. Cons / Things to Note: Breakfast: There is no standard buffet. It is served in the on-site ramen restaurant, where you choose from 3 fixed set options. It does come with a free salad and a choice of drinks (green tea, juice, or black coffee). Late-Night Dining: Almost all nearby local restaurants close by 10 PM, except for maybe 1 or 2, so plan your dinners accordingly. View: There are no great views from the room windows. Overall, a highly convenient and comfortable place to stay. The transit connectivity alone makes it well worth it!
The location is great. It's easy to get everywhere. Also, it's cleaned daily. The only problem was the strange door in our room. This door connected to the next room, and we could hear the guy in the next room arguing on facetime. Also, I couldn't understand why the person on the evening shift at reception didn't even greet me but kept smiling at my boyfriend :)
The rooms are fine enough, but if anybody wants to book here because of a lovely pool, they are in for a big surprise. THERE IS NO POOL AT THE HOTEL. Hence, the ad is fully misleading. Instead, there is access to a pool somewhere else. So, if you think you can easily take a dip whenever you want well ... you just can't. What you have to do is get fully dressed, take the elevator downstairs, walk out of the building, cross a city street, inhale some diesel and car or motorbike fumes, walk 50 yards, enter a lobby of bussiness/office tower, take elevator with office workers/bussiness people going about their day, ride to the top, go thru some more businesses and then you are there. Obviously, the same applies when going back. On top of everything, the pool closes 5PM, so forget about evening or night sweaming after a hot day. In addition, nobody at the hotel speaks English. Of course, they are polite and give you their famost Thai smiles (then again, it's not really saying much as I've never encountered actually rude staff in any hotel in Asia), but no one understands what you are saying to them. I would switch to a different hotel with a proper pool on the premises, if not for the fact they charge you at booking and offer no refund. Although there's a train station across the street, the place is not really close to any point of interest. That's why low scores.
