This is our third stay here over the past six months. We return because the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, the bed is comfortable, the staff are kind, courteous and accommodating and the location works for our needs while in Bangkok. The on-site tuk tuk driver will drop you at various nearby locations for shopping transport etc. We will enjoy to come back here.
This hotel looks very nice from the outside, but once you see the rooms, you realize they are very old. The pictures online make the place look amazing, but in reality it’s quite different. I didn’t take pictures or videos, and honestly I should have, because the condition of the room really didn’t match what was advertised. The floors in some areas are coming apart, and at certain times of the day there is a bad smell coming from either the washing machine or the drains. The bathroom was also disappointing. Some of the tiles are not properly sealed, and there are gaps in the corners where the tiles don’t meet correctly. Overall, the bathroom just felt poorly finished and not well maintained. The bathtub looked very dirty, to the point that I barely wanted to touch it. I was planning to use the soap provided by the hotel, but the smell wasn’t pleasant at all, so I decided to use my own shampoo and body wash instead. To be fair, the towels were clean and the bed was clean, and the bed itself was okay. But overall, the room simply did not match the pictures online. Another confusing thing is that the room has a kitchen, which makes it seem like you can cook there. However, they only provide plates. There are no pans or basic cooking tools, so you actually can’t cook anything unless you somehow request them, which wasn’t explained. Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it’s okay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay here for an entire vacation. It’s just not the type of place where you feel comfortable spending a lot of time. In addition to all of this. The staff are super nice and caring, so the service save this place from a 1 star review.
Suraj is a wonderful lad , super helpful. The rooms are spacious. The pool is cozy , there a terrace on top which is nice. It's located in a very quite alley which is peaceful.
I stayed 3 nights and I enjoyed my stay. Nice view from roofdeck. Sauna has good steam and is set at 100C. Roofdeck pool is good for a dip but not very deep.Free rides complimentary of the hotel up to certain distance until 7pm is a bonus. I used it to get to BTS. Neighbourhood and within the building is very quiet. Also Neighbourhood is more of an upperclass and nice to walk around. A few cafes within a 10 minute walk. I would have stayed longer but booked solid beyond my 3 nights.
