This boutique hotel has an old-timey feel but was built in 2018. It’s clean, charming and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a single king room, which was on the smaller side but had everything I needed. They provided bottled water each day, there was a small fridge and kettle in the room. The air-conditioner worked well and the breakfast had both continental and Thai menu options. Within 15-20 minutes you can walk to major historic sites, go early as it is cooler and there are less people. The hotel is located in the older part of the city, so there are street vendors and unhoused people in the area, but I never had any issues and I was a solo female traveler. This hotel is a great value and I definitely recommend it. You can even opt for a therapeutic massage in the privacy of your hotel room!
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms were in great shape, the hot water is almost immediate, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The immediate location is not great, as many reviewers have said, but it is a short walk to a number of places one may want to visit while in Bangkok. I highly recommend.
A nice place where we stayed for 2 nights after landing. Honestly, it has both pros and cons. Pros: Great location — only 7 minutes from a main street with nightlife, bars, and restaurants. By taxi, you can reach most attractions we wanted within about 30 minutes. Cons: The hotel is cute but not at its best anymore. There were a few homeless people in the surrounding streets, and overall the street itself was not the most inviting to walk around. That said, it’s important for me to mention that the locals were genuinely kind and did not make us feel uncomfortable.
Hotel is nice and very clean. The rooms have a nice vibe and the bathroom is flawless. There are free bicycles that can be borrowed for riding around the town. One hour late checkout was possible without any problem and after we checked out we could still keep our car parked in their parking lot to go out to eat. The Hotel staff is also very friendly and the location is good to walk to Khoa San road.
Very friendly staff, I made a mistake and booked 30 days later than what I thought I had booked. The staff was very friendly and helped me find a room for the night and politely refunded the reservation that I had mistakenly made. The hotel is very close to the historic Center and the breakfast is amazing. Room is nice but unfortunately there were several mosquitoes, some streets nearby can look a bit sketchy at night, but they seem to be safe nonetheless. All in all, I am very thankful for having stayed here.
