I am a local resident (3 years) but from the UK. I have been coming here for that time and it's always been a lovely and relaxing experience. A great team or friendly helpfull staff, lovely atmosphere and great food and coffee. An awesome indoor and outdoor area. The Manager 'Ball' is always very friendly, helpful and will always take care of you extremely well. My favourite spot in a great are of Bangkok.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and always welcoming. The kitchen is open until 1:30 AM, which is very convenient, and the food is absolutely delicious. Whenever I needed anything, the team did their best to help. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located in a very central area, making it easy to get around. If I had discovered this place earlier, I definitely would have stayed here longer. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it!
【This review pertains to the private rooms, not the hostel bunk beds】 I am writing this review from the hotel itself, having been thoroughly impressed by how much this boutique hotel has to offer for just a mere US$30. The rooms seem to have been tastefully and elegantly designed and curated, illuminated by bright lighting and gold accents throughout the room. Literally everything was perfect, even though at this price point of US$30, I wasn’t expecting much to be. Cleanliness was top-notch, 4 pillows to a soft comfy queen sized bed, blackout curtains, full array of hand/face/bath towels, water pressure was strong and hot water was full-on hot, WiFi was stable without disconnecting, the AC was powerful and reliable. No audible noise from the streets. Of course, the staff were delightful and extremely friendly and helpful too. The only constraint is that the property is located some distance away from the city centre, in a trendy local area about a 8-minute walk from BTS Phra Kanong Station, with a 24-hour 7-11 convenience store right outside the hotel and several other mom-and-pop shops along that row. I’ve stayed in over 80 different hotels just in this city of Bangkok alone and I can attest that at this price (THB 1000) it’s impossible to beat. Like literally a 9.9/10. You will not find a better hotel, pound for pound, at the same price or lesser in this city in a comparable or better location. I’ve reviewed several. I’d even say that this was a better stay than some of the big and reputable hotel chains. If they add a laundry room on premises I’d say this hotel/hostel deserves a full 10/10. That’s the only thing I can safely say is lacking. I can totally see why it’s one of the best-rated properties on the OTAs.
This is a very hygienic and luxury style hostel for a very great price! Shower space is great, and the beds are almost encapsulated which gives for a lot more privacy than regular hostels. The skyrail is located a few minutes walk from here granting you easier access around the city. The receptionist, Ball, was very helpful with any queries I had. All staff are accomodating and welcoming. I will stay here again.
This hotel has been an incredible rediscovery for me. It is truly a place of peace, connection, and meaningful exchanges. Honestly, I felt like I was in a bubble — everything, from the staff to the environment and the cleanliness, is designed to make you feel special and completely at ease, as if you were living the most peaceful holiday. This place brought me so much, especially through the people I met during my solo trip. The staff, their smiles, their kindness, and their genuine care were absolutely amazing — truly unforgettable. I am simply grateful to have experienced this place. I will come back every time I travel to Bangkok. I feel genuinely happy and fulfilled having discovered it. It has been one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in during my travels. I will recommend this place to every person I meet who is planning to visit Bangkok, especially those coming from France. The experience I had here is something everyone should live at least once — it is deeply personal and truly unforgettable.
