Had a great stay! The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help. The location is also very convenient, especially since the hotel is close to several shopping malls, making it easy to shop, dine, and explore the area. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!
I had a very pleasant stay at Grand Alpine Hotel in Pratunam. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the Pratunam market area, but tucked slightly away from the main noise and traffic. It was convenient for shopping, food, transport, and getting around Bangkok without feeling like the hotel itself was sitting directly in the chaos. I originally booked for 3 nights, but ended up extending my stay to a total of 8 nights, which says a lot. The room I had requested was unavailable, but the hotel upgraded us to a larger room, which was a nice surprise and much appreciated. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room and beds were clean, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily, which made the stay comfortable. The hotel also seemed popular with Filipino travellers, probably because it is very affordable and offers great value for a budget hotel in such a central location. Overall, Grand Alpine Hotel is not a luxury hotel, but for the price, location, cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenience, I had a very positive experience and would happily stay there again.
The superior king room is clean and spacious enough to roam around, but there is not much space for luggage. It has basic features such as a private T&B, ACU, mini-refrigerator, TV, and a clothes rack. The buffet breakfast, however, had limited options and was not very appetizing. Note that the hotel has two elevators, which makes moving between floors easy. The best asset of this hotel is its proximity to the shopping district as it sits directly in the Pratunam area. You can easily access lots of restaurants, massage spas, shopping malls, groceries, and a lot more.
Highly recommended for a hassle-free trip! Rooms: Very good, clean, and include a safe box. Excellent room safety. Staff: Very friendly and good service. Location: Perfect! Right near the night market, amazing street food stalls, and plenty of spas. A great place to stay!
We’ve stayed at this hotel many times and overall always had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — very convenient and close to many tourist spots and places to visit. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming every time we come back. The hotel also looks great after the recent renovation. The lobby is spacious, and having a store room is very convenient for guests. The only major issue is the water heater system, which really needs improvement. It takes a very long time for the water to become hot, and adjusting the temperature is quite difficult. Even after spending time trying to get the right temperature, the water can suddenly turn too hot or too cold halfway through the shower. This has happened during several stays and can be quite frustrating. Other than that, everything else has been very good, and we still enjoy staying here regularly.
