Description
Get ready for a thrilling tuk-tuk adventure through the vibrant and mysterious heart of Bangkok at night! This evening tour offers a whole new perspective on the Thai capital, as the intense heat fades and the city transforms into a wonderland of lights, colors, and energy. Bangkok by night is a completely different experience, with many of its landmarks beautifully illuminated, its streets buzzing with local life, and its flavors coming alive in the glow of street-side woks. Accompanied by a local guide who is eager to share insights about Thai culture, history, and food, you’ll begin the evening with a short ride on the Chao Phraya Express Boat on the ‘River of Kings’. We head to the majestic Wat Arun, where, although the temple itself is closed, we can still enter the grounds and admire the shimmering prangs, dramatically lit against the night sky. After soaking up the beauty of Wat Arun, we cross the river and hop in a tuk-tuk, zipping past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. We pass the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, the Giant Swing, and more, all bathed in soft golden light. Along the way, we stop at the famous Pak Khlong Talat, Bangkok’s bustling flower market. Our final stop is in lively Chinatown, one of the city’s top street food hubs. Here we get out to sample a few tasty local dishes and a traditional Thai dessert, simple and very local. Whether it’s your first time in Bangkok or you’ve visited before, this night tour is a fun way to discover a different side of the city, one filled with light, flavor, and authentic charm! PLEASE NOTE: ➤ Please note that this is not a food tour. While we do enjoy a local street-food meal and dessert at the end of the tour, the focus is on cultural exploration. ➤ On Mondays, many food stalls in Chinatown are closed for street cleaning, making the area quieter than usual. ➤ The tour ends in Chinatown. From there, it’s easy to return to your hotel by metro or taxi (not included).Includes
