We had a great time at this unique and quirky hotel in Bangkok. This was not a cookie cutter hotel. It is down a soi (think tiny street off of a main street). The lobby is open to the air with a covered seating area and great cafe. The staff was really helpful. We left for a few days to Chiang Mai and they allowed us to store our luggage in their storage area until we returned. They also had a downstairs shower in case you get in before your room is ready. Each room is decorated differently and the walls are hand-painted. It is walkable to some amazing restaurants (Steve's being one) and to the ferry on the river. The AC worked well and we never heard other guests or outside noise. The only thing to be aware of is the shower, sink and toilet are all in the same space so the entire floor gets wet. It does not affect my overall opinion of the hotel. We'd definitely come again.

On the website, the rooms looked very beautiful with big windows and a balcony. However, the room we got had small coloured windows, was dark, smelled and felt like a storage room. We contacted the staff about this who were very nice. They told us they had no other rooms available. We then requested a refund which they granted us without any discussion. In total, the hotel seemed cute and the staff was nice, which is why we still give two stars. But the room was unfortunately a disappointment.

I returned to this place after 10 years and did not regret it at all. It is located in a calm area—perfect if you want to enjoy Bangkok without feeling overwhelmed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have everything you need: simple, but thoughtfully designed with attention to detail.

Fantastic hotel with a very simple, in the best sense, design. I first visited in 2019 with my family with 3 kids and had a great experience, and returning now for a business trip has been just as enjoyable. The hotel offers a relaxing environment and a welcome escape from the busy, noisy life of Bangkok. The room is essential and bed is extremely comfortable, with a firm mattress, and the staff are exceptionally kind and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Is this the most luxurious place I’ve ever seen, no. Is this the most comforting place to recover from a long flight and to deal with your jet lag, definitely yes. The place is super cute, very quiet, the staff is extra friendly and in General, it has been a wonderful time and the best way to start out trip. Thank you
