We were treated so nicely there. The receptionist is very kind and loving. The whole stay was very very peaceful and pleasant there. The style of the hotel is super amazing, wooden, Japanese. With little garden outside. We missed our flight an stayed one more night and felt it like a blessing, visited all the Japanese cafes and matcha places around . And because of this hotel our whole stay in big city was peace and calm and pleasurable. Big thanks to the team and receptionist who treated us nicely! Alina and Sofia🤍🙏🏽

Amazing Japanese hospitality ❤️ Wow, is all we can say! From the second we entered the door, it felt like a great choice! They really nailed the Japanese Ryokan atmosphere with the decorations, tatami mats, the mos gardens, onsens, small tables, futons and yakayas on the beds. Our room even has an Onsen! Also, the service has been fantastic. A few reviewers mentioned hearing noises from the neighbors, but we heard nothing. It's been so quiet and zen. We even got welcome tea, complimentary drinks and snacks, and soy milk to sleep better 🍵🥛 Even at 1 meter 85 centimeters the beds feel comfortable. Sure the comforter could be a few centimeters longer, but I slept like a baby every night. Their Japanese breakfast is a visual feast, and a great experience. Sure westerners will be puzzled as they are used to eggs, toasts and cereal, and here you get fish, soups and pickles. Overall this stay exceeded our expectations, and as Japan-lovers, we really enjoyed our stay ❤️🇯🇵

Service is great, food is very tasty. I loved the private onsen wooden bath tub. However. The rooms are extremely noisy. Our stay was very pleasant until our neighbours arrived and they kept us up in the evening/night. So be aware of this. And I think the price is a bit over the top. But still, can't say any negative things other than this.

A lovely stay in a charming oasis! Location -Many nice eateries in the immediate vicinity, as well as a well-stocked supermarket (UFM Fuji) -Approximately 15 to 20 minutes walk to Phrom Phong or Thong Lor BTS stations, so do be prepared especially if the weather is hot or rainy -I had no problems getting a taxi to- and from- the hotel via ride-hailing -Neighbourhood is mostly residential with several commercial buildings, so is quiet and safe even at night Rooms: note that I stayed in the Villa with Garden View/ personal onsen, so my experience might differ from others -This particular room was located in a separate annex, so I did not have any issues with noise or soundproofing -The room was really cosy and the futon bed and pillows were soooo comfortable! -All standard amenities are there (there is also a mini fridge) except for a safe -The Japanese breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay Service: -Really top service and hospitality! Staff were really warm and welcoming; lots of nice touches such as a warm soya milk nightcap, welcome snacks, and the staff even left an umbrella outside my room for my own use throughout the stay!

I stayed in the King Suite with Balcony / Terrace access. This was such an excellent stay! The staff are wonderful; very helpful and very accommodating. The room was perfect: The private onsen comes with powder/minerals that provide a fresh aroma and feels great on your skin. Temperate controls so you can have it as hot or as temperate, as you'd like. I personally love the tatami beds - I'm fairly used to sleeping in this style from Ryokans in Japan and for me, it feels excellent on my back and I sleep better than usual. There is a Spa/Onsen attached to MAYU (Kashikiri) that you can use via the hotel which offers excellent treatment and onsen options. There is also the option to have a massage in your room if you'd prefer. I had this as well, and it was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend paying for the Japanese breakfast available at the hotel. It's very authentic and filling. You definitely won't need to eat again for a few hours after having this breakfast. 100% recommended; I would definitely stay again next time I travel to Bangkok/Tonglo.
