Reviews
Our stay at lebua at State Tower was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we checked in, the experience felt incredibly thoughtful. We were welcomed with personalised treats waiting in our suite, which made the stay feel extra special right from the start. The hotel itself is iconic for a reason. Every suite comes with a private balcony overlooking Bangkok’s skyline and the Chao Phraya River, and waking up to those panoramic views was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Food was outstanding throughout our stay. Whether it was breakfast or dinner at the rooftop restaurants, every meal was beautifully presented and genuinely delicious. It’s easy to see why lebua has become one of Bangkok’s most celebrated dining destinations. Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous Hangovertini at Sky Bar, the signature cocktail inspired by The Hangover Part II, which was filmed here. As movie fans, sipping that drink in the same iconic setting made the experience even more memorable. A fun surprise? We even spotted a few well-known personalities while riding the lifts, adding an unexpected touch of glamour to an already unforgettable stay. Between the breathtaking rooftop views, exceptional hospitality, thoughtful welcome amenities, world-class food, and the hotel’s cinematic legacy, lebua delivered an experience that felt truly unique. If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Bangkok that combines iconic views with unforgettable dining, this is one hotel that absolutely lives up to the hype.
Absolutely phenomenal stay at lebua at State Tower! From the moment we walked in, we received a superb welcome. The staff was expecting our arrival, and the check-in arrangements were incredibly prompt. A huge thank you to Cartoon, who escorted us to our room and made sure all our room arrangements were fully supported and perfect for our family. The room was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed, and offered the absolute best views of the river and city. We loved relaxing on the balcony with that amazing breeze. The hospitality was top-notch, and the breakfast buffet had exceptionally good quality Indian food, which was a wonderful surprise. It was worth every penny, and the kids loved it just as much as we did. Highly recommend!
Management is good Employees have bad attitudes, both the front desk, door man, elevator personnel. Best employees were the room cleaning staff they are amazing. Always had an issue with ordering grab rides to the lobby… for whatever reason. Couldn’t eat meal in the M restaurant without constantly being asked about when I was going to leave as I was eating. They wanted to discuss the bill as I was eating , very very rude. M staff were very inconsistent. They were at my table when I didn’t want to be disturbed and when I wanted the check they were no where to be found. Recommendation… DO NOT stay here ….the entire area is dead(business) and not blossoming as it once was. Only come here for the food and the view it’s only thing that is still very good TLDR : Nice hotel aesthetic , nice room, nice view, more bad attitude employees than good. Food(room service or restaurant)and the view is the best thing about this hotel. Lebua has lost its soul.
I had an amazing stay at lebua at State Tower. The view from the balcony on the 54th floor was absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of my trip. The service was exceptional from check-in to check-out, with every staff member being warm, professional, and attentive. The included high tea with the stunning city view was a lovely experience, and the light luncheon was also very enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome amenities in the room, including fresh fruit, snacks, and a delicious cake, which made me feel truly welcomed. Breakfast offered a great variety of options and was a fantastic way to start the day. The gym and swimming pool were well-maintained and added to the overall comfort of the stay. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. I would definitely love to stay here again!
Just checked out from my third stay at Lebua. Yes, the room design is so outdated, but very well maintained. The housekeeping team did very well in keeping our 2 bedroom suite clean and tidy everyday, so generous with the amenities too. What kept me coming back is the high level of service. Thank you Saii, Ngon (Reception) and Kon (Concierge) for making our stay seamless. The bell team were always there to help as well. Oh and still the best breakfast buffet in Bangkok!
