Absolutely loved it here! The staff were so lovely, attentive and worked hard to keep everything clean. The capsules were such a good size and really comfy. Great location if you want to be near KhaoSan Road but don’t want all the noise. So much good street food close by too. Can’t wait to come back another time!

I had a great stay at Khaosan Hostel. The convenient location and extremely friendly front desk folk were the highlights. The crowd that this hostel attracts seems to be a bit young and a lot of the activities are drinking oriented. I do not drink so it was a little difficult to connect with the other travelers. Overall, great stay!

I stayed here two nights then I moved to a private room with shared bathroom in a nice family run guesthouse towards the River and the little park. My private AC room with queensize bed, large window and blackout curtains with a delicious Thai restaurant in the first floor run by the family was the same price or maybe 5% cheaper than a bunkbed in this hostel. I paid 500 Bhat for that so I'm not too sure this hostel is incredible value. Also, the prices listed on Agoda, Booking and Hostelworld for the same date(s) and identical dormroom are all over the place - from $11 USD on booking.com, to $16 on Hostelworld, to $10 on Agoda, to $17 directly booking with them on their hostel website. The $16-17/night rates on their website and Hostelworld are more expensive than some of the hostels I've been staying at on Kyushu island in Japan. I'm in Kagoshima right now and I'm paying basically $14 USD a night for a dorm bed in an 8-10 bed dorm room with balcony facing the ocean and a volcano. While the location in Khaosan Rd is particularly good, I definitely think the dorm bed prices are vastly inflated. Max I would pay for a hostel like this in Thailand, even in high season, would be like 300-400 Bhat. But as the photo shows below their prices are all over the place.

It was my first social hostel experience, and they completely changed my perspective on the concept! Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful, there are truly amazing people working there. It was great to meet you all! The guests were also polite and respectful. The common areas were peaceful, making it easy to sit and chat with others. The events were so much fun! I can easily say it was my best stay ever!!

This might be my favorite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s clean, the pods are nice, the bathrooms are good. You get a locker outside you room for your bags. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everyday they organise social events to encourage making friends. The rooftop bar is great for this as well, I ended my nights here almost every day. I met some great people who I ran into again and again during my travels.
