We paid for a deluxe room; it was very spacious but not very clean (the floor was never cleaned and towels were changed only once in 5 days). We arrived at 9 pm for check-in, and only upon arrival were we told the pool was closed and would not be accessible (no email, no prior communication). We have a two-year-old and needed the room, so we turned a blind eye, but we had chosen this hotel for the pool on the 20th floor with a view and the location; it was very unfair. Unfortunately, during our stay, we lost one of the two keys, and upon check-out, we were charged 500 baht. I understand the policy, but given their serious shortcomings, which impacted our stay, it would have been appropriate to turn a blind eye. For those who want to book, the pool will not reopen before September!!!
Furama Silom offers great value for money in a fantastic location. The hotel is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, BTS stations, and Bangkok’s nightlife. The rooftop pool is a real highlight, with excellent city views and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although some areas of the hotel could benefit from renovation and modernization. The staff were generally polite and helpful, but the service was fairly standard. Overall, a good choice for travelers looking for a well-located hotel at a reasonable price.
I had a very pleasant stay at Furama Silom Bangkok. The hotel offers excellent value for money and is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable mid-range hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the overall service throughout my stay was warm and professional. A special mention goes to Jeab, who hosted breakfast each morning. She was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always greeted guests with a genuine smile. Her positive attitude and attentiveness made breakfast a wonderful start to each day and added a personal touch to the stay. The breakfast service was efficient, the staff were courteous, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. It's team members like Jeab who make guests feel truly welcome. Overall, I would happily stay here again and would recommend Furama Silom Bangkok to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent service and great value for money.
Now..I give the Rating based on what we paid. £55 a night with breakfast for 4 people! Can’t complain, it’s ideal for a night or two before flying home or after landing. However, I wouldn’t want to pay any more. The room we had was ok, the view from the room was…OK. The bathroom was horrendous lol it needs updating, urgently. There is no balcony to access as the sliding doors have a nail in them so cannot be opened. Breakfast was very good actually 👍 Staff good 👍 Easy quick check in 👍 Location is decent. Roof top bar wasn’t really what I was expecting, going on reviews saying it’s fantastic, in fact it’s just a small bar and some tables with seats - no cushions, so rock hard seats. Great view though!! But drinks are expensive. 2 cocktails, 2 cokes a pizza and nachos. £52 Lots of great places to eat locally though…great location,and it’s cheap, when I say cheap it’s cheap.. Would I stay again- based one what we paid, yes I probably would 🙏🇹🇭
Highly recommended! The hotel is in an excellent location, with many attractions and food options nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the daily housekeeping service keeps everything fresh and comfortable. The food is also great, with good quality and variety. Overall, everything from the service to the facilities was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
