We stayed for two nights and booked a junior suite, what an absolute joke, fortunately we didn't take the cat as there was no room to swing it. I really don't know how they get away with calling it a suite, very basic hotel room with a very small space either side of the bed. However it was clean and comfortable. The bar restaurant area was nice, food good and serving staff kind and helpful. A little overpriced for some items but not too bad.
The hotel’s hospitality is incredible. I had a great stay here!! I would highly recommend this hotel & area (quiet cafe area). My balcony lock couldn’t lock and they immediately sent a repairman to fix it. Not only so, the service was impeccable from the small details of gestures e.g helping to keep our grab food, holding door, auto-helping me to carry food when I carried many bags of food, putting 2 bottles of water outside my room when I placed 1 empty bottle outside. The room (junior suite) was superb as well and I throughly enjoyed my stay here.
Really really good service. They will help you with everything you can imagine. Self service laundry is available so you can wash in the hotel. Gym is alright. But for a hotel it’s above average. Location wise it’s a bit of a stinker. Closest bts is 15 mins of walking. But the walking makes up for all of the eating you’re doing throughout the day. Overall a 9/10 for me would definitely come back.
The location is a little inconvenient, but it’s a great place at a great value. Their swimming pool was great. I don’t understand why the entire pool and restaurant bar seatings are right by each other though. You might feel like a monkey swimming at night because a lot of bar customers sit there. Evening staff were very nice and accommodating. I feel like daytime staff were not as personable. Tuk tuk service is nice, but it‘s not flexible. We asked if we could get dropped off as blue because it was close by car, and staff said it’s only for Ari or something. Most downtown areas are connected to blue, so we ended up taking grab everywhere. There’s absolutely nothing in 5 min walking radius. You get more if you walk 10 mins, but for a quick coffee, delivery is easier.
We had a comfortable stay at the Craftsman Hotel Bangkok. One of the best parts of the stay is the location as it’s away from the busy areas of the city and tucked away in a lane not too far from the BTS Ari & Saphan Khwai station. They have a Tuktuk shuttle for drop + pickup to and from the Ari BTS station. The staff is very warm and hospitable. The front office team of Poomi, First & Peachy (I hope I got their names right!) were always forthcoming with anything we needed. Even the rest of the staff like the concierge, housekeeping and at Baby Bar was pleasant and helpful at all times. 10/10 for the entire hotel staff. The rooms and the entire hotel were so clean and perfect. Moreover, the breakfast at Baby Bar was good too! They could have changing options in the A-la-carte menu, but it’s still very good. It’s one of the best 4 star stays I’ve had for sure. I will definitely be back again when we plan to stay in Ari♥️
