Stayed here for 4 nights and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a convenient location near shopping areas and local markets, making it easy to explore Bangkok. The room was comfortable and suitable for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and transportation options nearby made getting around simple. Good value if you’re traveling on a budget.
Had their Dinner buffet on 82nd floor and it was all it’s hyped up to be. The food was exceptional and the service was amazing. Some instructions before would have been nice as well did not realize that you can ask the waitress to bring you steak and grilled giant shrimp, Italian dishes and grilled oysters and squid. The Japanese sashimi was amazing, especially the tuna. The baby suckling pig and crackle and roasted duck were to perfection. I also orders a bottle of wine (no wine service) but you will find a table with their selection and they will bring to table. So maybe some instructions would have helped as we were looking at others who were immediately being served. You can go around and wait for it, but so Much better when served. The steak was tender which is unusual for Thailand or anywhere in ASEA.
Baiyoke Boutique had served me well for my previous 2 visits. It was simply good value for money, being in a good location that's walkable to Siam Square and having everything you need for a simple stay. However, this time around, the area surrounding the hotel is undergoing major renovation works, causing daily jams and extended travelling times. But this didn't bother us too much. It's how we were treated by one individual that have us reluctant to ever revisit. Most of the staff are friendly and professional, but the one at the concierge on the night of 30th Dec 2025 was incredibly lazy, rude, and suspicious. We had requested for 2 bottles of water; after visibly giving some thought to whether he wanted to leave his chair, he told us that they were 25 baht each. Every other day of our stay, we were given 2 complimentary bottles by other staff (since my friend and I prefer to do away with room service, we usually ask for towels, soap, and water on an as-needed basis). But that's not all... After heading back to our rooms, we also realised that we had run out of the complimentary soap and shampoo. We ringed up the desk from our room to request for a top-up (they come in these tiny bottles that are given to guests; NOT entailing a physical topping up of any dispenser whatsoever), but for the first time in all our travel experiences, we heard these words spoken over the line (by the same guy who was at the desk who wanted to charge us for water): "We are out of stock of soap and shampoo, please ask again tomorrow afternoon" (presumably after his shift has ended). Unbelievable. Take what you will from our experience, but our most recent visit definitely left us feeling like the little savings we got from booking this hotel were no longer worth it.
Value for money, perfect for solo travellers who need an overnight stop in Bangkok, as it is next to ARL. Also next to Pratunam market. Breakfast is good and varied. Service is ok. The room is spacious. The carpet can use some wash, but overall it is ok.
