I have just checked out early from this hotel. The welcome from the receptionist on arrival was very good. She was very professional and happy. The room was amazing. Huge, with separate loungeroom and small kitchen, with a large fridge. However, that’s where the good part ends. High traffic noise kept me awake, which is sort of to be expected in Bangkok, but still uncomfortable. On waking I realised there is a very noisy construction site underneath my balcony. This was not expected and I wasn’t told about it before booking. Probably because I wouldn’t have booked if I had known. I went to reception to see if there is anything they can do, to find the receptionist with his head on the desk asleep!! At this point, I decided to leave and book elsewhere. On checkout, the sleeping receptionist (who seemed to be awake by now) didn’t ask why I was checking out, just told me to wait while the room was checked. I gave him the key and access card and left. As this was prepaid I am not expecting any refund, but I do expect a business to be truthful, and have employees that A) don’t sleep on the job and B) can effectively communicate with their clients.
I had a really nice stay at this aparthotel. The room was lovely and in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Housekeeping was excellent — the room was cleaned daily and coffee and water were replenished each day. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The only small downside was the size of the balcony. It’s quite small and seems more suited for hanging things out to dry rather than sitting out there, as there are no chairs provided. Overall, a very comfortable stay with great service. I would happily stay here again. 😊
Got a much bigger room that what I had booked with washing machine in balcony. But its on low 3rd floor and most of the view facing neighbouring house so not much privacy. Good - very good value for money with the space. Housekeeping well done. Location right in between the 2 new malls (One Bangkok and Central Park) with nice cafe (Shelly House) and restaurant (NorthEast) roght beside. Strong hot water pressure. 4 pillows on bed and cool aircon. Bad - still uses key for lock. Bathroom tap is a pain to use. Aircon old and a bit noisy. Bed a bit hard but good for those with back issues. My phone 5G signals faster than hotel WiFi speed.
