About the smell every other comments talk about , a little bit at the first day but after shower it was gone . Enjoy
We stayed at B2 ChinaTown Yaowarat Premiere for 4 days and 4 nights, and overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. The room for three guests was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Housekeeping is done upon request, and every room make-up came with fresh bath and face towels, three bottles of water, and complimentary instant coffee with creamer and sugar. This made our stay very convenient and comfortable. The bathroom was reasonably comfortable, and the shower heater worked well throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Free Wi-Fi was available and worked reliably. On the downside, there are no hotel slippers provided, so it’s best to bring your own flip-flops. I also noticed what might have been a bed bug once, although I am not entirely sure. It did not affect our sleep or overall comfort, and we did not encounter it again. It also seems that recycled water is used for flushing, which I personally support as an environmentally friendly practice. However, there were occasional unusual odors coming from the bathroom. Overall, B2 ChinaTown Yaowarat Premiere offers good value for money, especially for travelers looking for a clean, spacious, and affordable stay in the Chinatown area.
Stayed here for a short trip and it was honestly a solid choice. The location is really convenient, especially if you want to explore Chinatown on foot, food spots and shops are everywhere. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable enough for resting after a long day out. Check-in was smooth and the staff were helpful. Not fancy, but great value for the price and perfect if you’re mostly out exploring
We stayed at B2 Chinatown for one night, mainly because we wanted to spend the evening exploring Chinatown. The entrance is a bit strange — it feels like you’re entering a shopping mall rather than a hotel, which is confusing at first. We were first given a room, but as soon as we entered, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell, like old pipes. There were also small flying bugs around the bathroom pipes, and the bathroom itself was not properly cleaned. To be fair, reception handled the situation well and immediately changed our room. The second room was slightly better, but by the next morning the smell had returned, and so had the flying bugs. Unfortunately, cleanliness is the main issue here. Despite being a new hotel, the bathroom tile joints are already yellowed and look old, which gives a very neglected impression. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped. The bed is comfortable, there’s a large safe, a hair dryer, and all the amenities you might need. The room itself has good potential. However, it’s important to note that the rooms have no windows, which makes the lack of ventilation and the smells even more noticeable. Overall, the hotel could be good, but poor cleaning and maintenance seriously affect the experience, especially for a new property.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and overall it offers great value for the price and location. I’ve previously stayed at a B2 hotel in Krabi and had a good experience there, which is why I wanted to try B2 in Bangkok as well — and this one definitely lived up to expectations. The location is excellent, especially if you want to explore Chinatown, street food, and local markets. Everything is within walking distance and the area is very lively. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, which we really appreciated after long days of walking in the city. The air conditioning worked well and the room felt fresh and cozy. However, the sound insulation is not the best. You can hear noise from the hallway, neighboring rooms, and sometimes from outside. It wasn’t unbearable, but light sleepers should be aware of this. One thing we would love to see improved is the bathroom amenities. The hotel only provides small-sized shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, which run out quickly. It would be much more convenient to have larger bottles. Also, instead of a small bar of hand soap, liquid hand soap would be a nicer and more hygienic option. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed, and check-in/check-out was smooth. The overall vibe of the hotel is modern and simple, perfect for travelers who prioritize location and comfort over luxury extras. Overall, a very good stay, and we would definitely consider coming back — especially if the sound insulation and bathroom amenities are improved.
