Greenhorn family here- first time in Bangkok. We stayed for three nights at the Ago Hotel, a family-owned business. It's a stone's throw from Hua Lamphong rail/subway station and Chinatown. The lobby has a romantic, old world charm. The rooms are stylish, spacious, and clean. I think I ate an egg tart every day for breakfast - so good. :) We enjoyed the best of Thai hospitality here and would love to come back!
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff provided outstanding service from check-in to check-out, always being friendly, professional, and willing to help with any request. Their attention to detail made me feel welcome and well cared for throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, the amenities were well-maintained, and housekeeping did a great job keeping everything spotless. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed for a relaxing and restful stay. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is conveniently situated close to restaurants, shopping areas, and local attractions, making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time traveling. Despite being centrally located, the hotel still offered a peaceful environment. The cherry on top of all of this is the amazing food services that are provided, breakfast through dinner everything is top tier quality, and tastes amazing.
Ago Hotel Chinatown is a wonderful to stay for both long and short holidays. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and the rooms are well maintained. The staff are very kind and polite and very accommodating - they work very hard to make your stay memorable. Anything you need - they will help you with. The hotel itself is beautiful - very pleasantly designed with great furnishings. There is a lot of pride in this hotel and that is very clear. Additionally, the food here is delicious - come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and your will be very very satisfied. Definitely this is a hidden dinner gem you would be happy to experience. With a very affordable cost, you can’t beat this place. We can’t wait to stay here again!
Had a wonderful stay at Ago Chinatown Hotel. The location is very strategic, close to the river pier, Yaowarat Road, Talat Noi, and many of Bangkok’s cultural spots, making it easy to explore the city. The room was very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was amazing with delicious options to start the day, and the hospitality from all the staff was truly warm and genuine. They made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming stay in Bangkok with comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
AGO Hotel is a really good stay option in Bangkok, especially because of its convenient location near Hua Lamphong Metro Station. Getting around the city from here is super easy. One thing I really liked was the free electric boat ride available from Hua Lamphong, which made the experience even more unique and enjoyable. The hotel is also close to Chinatown and Song Wat Street, so exploring nearby places becomes very convenient. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was really comfortable. Definitely a place I would recommend while staying in Bangkok.
