  • Ride a long tail boat on the canal in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
  • Cook like a local at Tha Kha cooking school
  • Explore ordination hall, which is covered by a Bodhi tree

Your personal guide will pick you up in front of your hotel (Bangkok area). Then, journey to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. You will see a bunch of vendors in traditional clothes with wide-brimmed straw hats called ‘ngob’ selling local foods, exotic fruits, and handmade products on the rowing boats. On this trip, you will get to experience the canal by riding on a long-tail boat, while your guide outlines over a hundred years of the history of this floating market, how it is important to communities along the canal, and how these local people live their everyday lives. After the cruise, you are free to discover and enjoy many different kinds of Thai food at the market. Then you will continue to the Tha Ka Cooking School and learn how to cook 5 traditional dishes. The last stop is Bang Kung Temple. This temple was built in the 18th Century. You will see ‘Ubosot’ (ordination hall) covered with big roots from four kinds of trees - Bodhi, Banyan, Krai, and Krang. These roots have helped this hall stay stable until the present day.
