I had an early check in and I was travelling solo. They gave me early checking without any questions or Nuisance. The staff was super helpful and cordial. The location is amazing and walkable to many cool cafés and street food. The rooms were super clean and spacious. There was no disturbance in the room and had all amenities too. The concierge was very helpful and greeted with a smile always.
We had a lovely stay here. A very relaxing and well located hotel. So close to BTS and other amenities. The staff were so nice and welcoming especially Torn and Boat. This is our second stay here and when we return to Bangkok we'll be staying here again. 100% recommend this place. Sorry to be leaving
This was our first stay at The Salil Hotel Sukhumvit 57, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we checked in until the day we checked out, every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I especially want to give a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Dear, who provided exceptional service throughout our entire stay. She also went above and beyond by helping us with the hotel’s traditional Thai costume experience, making it even more memorable. I’m absolutely obsessed with the hotel’s modern, stylish, and trendy design. Every corner is beautifully decorated, creating such a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The location is another huge advantage—it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the BTS station and conveniently located in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore Bangkok. I highly recommend The Salil Hotel Sukhumvit 57 to anyone visiting Bangkok. Thank you, Ms. Dear, for making our stay so special. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality truly made this hotel even more valuable. We will definitely be back for another vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The interiors were beautiful, and the complimentary Thai dressing service was such a unique and memorable touch to the experience. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and welcoming. A special shout-out to Dear, who assisted us with the Thai dressing service. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything and making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we would happily return.
Location & Room: The location is quite good—not too far from the Thong Lor BTS station. It's about 25 min walk to Emporium mall. The hotel itself is beautiful. I booked a Deluxe Suite for my stay, and the room was indeed very pretty. I especially loved the bathroom with the glass wall, which allowed me to enjoy a bath while taking in the lovely view of the room. Dining: I tried the breakfast one morning, and it was okay. If you book in advance with reception, it is 350 Baht, but I was told it jumps to 600+ Baht for a walk-in. I did like the Japanese-style chawanmushi and the fact that there were three options for how the eggs were cooked. However, for a 5-star hotel, the overall quality of the food and fruit could definitely be better. Service: The service here was a tale of two completely different experiences. To start, the arrival felt truly 5-star: I was greeted by the floor team (not reception) with a welcome drink, a cold towel, and even a pot of popcorn, which was a lovely touch. However, the reception staff then informed me the room wasn’t ready and told me to return after 3:00 PM. Once I came back after three, the experience went completely downhill. The concierge service remained absolutely five-star, no question—they were always incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly. Frankly, they should be the ones standing at the front desk. The reception people, on the other hand, didn't seem happy to be there at all. When I went to get my room, the front desk staff simply handed me the key card without a single word of explanation or introduction. Even though the WiFi password was printed on the card envelope, there was no mention of basic details like breakfast times, locations, or hotel amenities. Even a 3-star hotel wouldn't miss those standard introductory details. To add to that, housekeeping failed to replenish the toilet paper when it ran out. Facilities: Another important thing to note is that the swimming pool and gym facilities are not designed for post-checkout use. Unlike standard 5-star hotels, there is no proper changing room or indoor shower available after you check out. You can only use the outdoor pool shower and the toilet on Level 8. Because of this, I decided not to use the pool after checking out. The lounge area on the 8th floor is visually lovely, but the air conditioning wasn't turned on. It was simply too hot to just chill there or enjoy the board games they provide. Such a shame. Verdict: If you love the design of the hotel and the room, appreciate a great concierge team, and go in expecting nothing from the reception after the initial welcome, you will likely enjoy your stay. Otherwise, it doesn't quite live up to its 5-star rating.
