Had some really fun nights in here. Great drinks, amazing service, lovely atmosphere. For once I'd recommend trying some drinks off the menu. It's a really nicely thought out exploration of Thai flavours and tastes, with some lovely little twists sparkles. I also got them to make a couple of drinks for me. They've got a really nice bar with a few unusual bottles, and they know how to mix and serve a damn fine drink. This is the first bar I recommend to friends visiting BKK, and you should try it too. ❤️
Funky 👀 cocktail bar with great service and ambiance. Notable drinks: Cow, Shellfish & Cashew Thank you Kook, Fluke & the team for looking after during my visit. Will return soon for sure!
Amazing service! Entire cocktail program and specific drinks were thoughtfully described. Shout out to Fang! And my new buddy Ivan (thanks for the bite of the amazing stuffed chicken wing 10/10). Oh and music was awesome!
Atmosphere: 8/10 Located in Bangkok’s Thonglor area, Mahaniyom Cocktail Bar sits on the second floor of a Michelin-recommended restaurant. The space feels eclectic, chill, and stylish. Music volume is on point. Backbar is solid. Seating includes plenty of bar seats and some tables, though bar seating is not very comfortable due to limited leg space. Crowd is young to middle age. The name translates to “very popular,” and one of their drinks, Pink Me Up, has won a global award. Drinks: 7.5/10 Recommendation: Pink Me Up Menu is structured around local ingredients. Selection is good. Flavor execution is solid, though overall menu quality could be stronger. Coasters are simple. Glassware is average. Garnish is minimal. Presentation is standard. Service: 8/10 Water served on arrival. Complimentary snacks and a welcome drink provided. Team is friendly, professional, and reasonably attentive. English skills are good. Prices are slightly above average. Reservations not needed.
Stepping into this bar was such a great surprise. The space is beautifully designed – warm, intimate and welcoming. The lighting is soft but carefully done, just bright enough for great photos, and the seating is really comfortable so you can actually relax and stay a while. The menu is full of creative drinks using very interesting ingredients, to the point that it was honestly hard to choose because everything sounded exciting and made me curious to try more. The staff are another highlight – super cool, professional, and always checking in to ask about our experience and get feedback. If my friends from Vietnam visit Bangkok, this is definitely one of the first places I’ll recommend.
