The location of Sovereign Hotel Pratunam is really great — it’s right in a convenient area with easy access to shopping, food, and transport, which made exploring the city very simple. However, the room itself was quite small and felt a bit cramped. While everything was functional and clean, the limited space made it less comfortable than I hoped. Overall, it’s a good choice if you value location and convenience, but the room size might not be ideal for those who prefer more space.
For the price it was good enough for couple of nights. Room was clean and super small with small bottle of water. Wall is thin, hear everything around you. Got woken up several times on my first night. Guests here don't have any consideration of how much noise they make. The door slammed loudly like you slammed the door with anger. Location is near all the shops but lots of construction in this area. Food vendors are all around. Good for a short stay. Front desk older lady seem like she may have a bad day. Not so friendly but she did her job. It could be some of the rude tourists she has to deal with on a daily basis.
Stayed here from November 13 to 15. Location for me is the best since it is very near the shopping areas like Platinum, Decembers, Pratunam, etc. Despite being in a busy area, it is a bit secluded at the end of a small alley so it is quiet and more peaceful. I booked last minute because I didn't like the previous hotel I stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, very organized and uncomplicated. The rooms were just quite small so having many luggages would be hard. The hot water in th shower is also not consistent. 1 star lesser because of these 2 points. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, rooms were cleaned daily and basic amenities were there. Would recommend! :)
