Had an okay to mid experience until a frustrating occurrence. THE BATHROOM DOOR LOCKED BY ITSELF. how it went: 1. complained at 9:30pm at receptionist, staff later notified us that technician will arrive tomorrow *btw staff tried fixing it with a 5baht coin… 🧐* 2. we need to use the bathroom so staff asked us to change rooms at 10pm 3. THE ROOM REPLACEMENT (FOR 1 NIGHT ONLY BTW) IS IN A DIFF BUILDING 4. we are tourist whose schedules need to be on the dot and our stuffs are in the bathroom 5. staff kept saying sorry but this is extremely frustrating & inconvenient as tourist who has appointments and itineraries! 6. We got extremely frustrated and asked for compensation at least. 7. staff came 5mins later with a screwdriver and fixed it. Like why couldn’t they do that the first time we complained??? JUST what the hell! only great thing abt this place is it’s near city center, *looks* clean, and super cheap. P.S. THE BATHROOM HAS A WEIRD STENCH BTW You can hear the cars & motorcycles at night. EDIT: gave it another star because staff was apologetic and refunded us 1 night of our stay as compensation. Appreciated the accountability!
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the Stay Plus Team for helping my fiancé and friends set up my surprise proposal at the penthouse suite 2 weeks ago, the team truly put so much effort into it and we really appreciate it. They even bought a chalkboard for the occasion 😭🫶 (which i brought home and have it displayed) and I understand that some of the foil balloons and rubber balloons popped and they had to get replacements in a very short amount of time too. Thank you for being part of such a wonderful memory! All things considered, the service was fantastic and the cleanliness is top notch. I truly highly recommend this hotel for their service and hospitality, even if it might not be the most convenient location. I can’t wait to be back!
Budget hotel in Bangkok that actually surprised me I stayed at Pluss Hotel Bangkok for 5 nights and honestly didn’t expect much at first. Some reviews online mentioned noise and traffic, so I was a little skeptical before checking in. But after staying here… it turned out to be one of the best budget hotels I’ve tried in Bangkok. 💰 Around IDR 440k per night/person 📍 Located at Banthat Thong Road The location is great because you can walk to Banthat Thong easily, but the hotel itself is not directly in the busy food street, so it’s still comfortable and quiet. And for me, the most important thing is always cleanliness. I’m quite picky with hotels and can’t stay somewhere that feels dirty. Luckily this place passed the test: • Clean and comfortable bed • Very clean bathroom • Fresh towels every day • Bidet available (huge plus honestly) • Friendly staff • Luggage storage available For a budget stay in Bangkok, this place was honestly much better than I expected. Definitely a great option if you want something affordable, clean, and within walking distance to Bangkok’s food spots.
The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and patient, ensuring a seamless check-in. Our room overlooked a bustling road, disturbed by incessant motorcycle noise at night. More unnerving were the eerie clangs from nearby bridge railings echoing in the hallway after midnight—a real scare on my first Bangkok visit, compounded by witnessing a knife attack at Phaya Thai station right after alighting from the Airport Rail Link. Yet, the vibrant neighborhood redeemed it all, with a lively night market just steps away.
