I stayed at Pratunam Family House for 4 nights while traveling on a budget, and overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. If you’re looking for good value for money in Bangkok, this is a great option. Although it’s more like a guesthouse/hostel, I had my own private room and private bathroom. The room was quite small but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. The only minor issue was that the bathroom occasionally had an unpleasant smell. However, the room and the entire property were very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent, especially for Muslim travelers. The hotel is located in Soi 15, Phetchaburi, with plenty of halal restaurants nearby. Phaya Thai’s Muslim area, which has many halal eateries and a mosque, is about a 10-15 minute walk away (around 900 meters). There are also two 7-Eleven stores, a Tops supermarket, and several halal food options within walking distance. Getting here from Suvarnabhumi Airport is very convenient. Simply take the Airport Rail Link to Ratchaprarop Station (***), and the hotel is only about a 10-11 minute walk from the station. Indra Market and Pratunam Market are also within walking distance, making this a great base for shopping. The Wi-Fi could definitely be improved, and the property does not have a lift or facilities such as laundry service. Rooms are not cleaned daily by default, but the staff happily cleaned my room when I requested it. They were friendly, helpful, and even carried my luggage upstairs. Overall, I highly recommend this place for budget-conscious travelers. It’s in a safe, convenient location and offers excellent value for money. I would especially recommend it for solo travelers. Families can also stay here, but the room size may feel a little small for more than one person.
I had only 1 night here but the service was nice, the room for 2 that has 2 single bed, 1 bathroom inside, 1 small fridge with 2 bottles of water for free (if you book on Booking or Traveloka). The receptionist is friendly and careful. The location is great for go to Big C, Talat Noi, Siam square with around 20-30 baht for Grab or Bolt. For those who need a comfortable room to travel around Bangkok is so far so good. Take noted that almost hotels or homes need to be checked in around 2:00 P.M (14:00), so if you come early, you can send your luggage there and come around until the receptionist contact you. Sorry but I forgot to take a picture, the room that I rented about 12 square meters.
The wifi sucks! Hoe come a hotel provide so terrible wifi, many routers but none working, might well put no wifi provided. No lift, the room just ordinary, old style hotel (i mean really old one for me)
The rooms were not that bad but some of them are the broken. When I mean broken, the door handle, bathroom handle and other handles were broken but the service is very good and they have breakfast which is only coffee. But the location is very good since it was only a 20 minutes walk from centralwOrld.
Patunam Family House rooms are clean and shine for us.The manager and staff are friendly. The service is also good. The rooms are clean and bright, making our family feel comfortable. I have decided to come back with my family and friends in the future. Thank you for your valuable services.
