1st of the staff was great but I truly disliked my room and the location of it. Right outside my room door has a very strong smell of cigarette smoke as if it was the smoking section. I requested a balcony room on high floor in advance, well I did get a balcony but on the second floor (was told the hotel was full) with great views of the lobby. And every floor hallway(mostly windows) and lobby have great views of me on the balcony. I felt exposed. The neighborhood is more on the local than touristy side which i didn't mind much. Breakfast was simple but good. I had delicious lunch and dinner with some very good cocktails at the little restaurant in front. The loction is walkable. I walked the area solo just fine. For the price for my stay it's pretty good find.

A well equipped hotel in busy local area with many different restaurants, street food stalls, coffee shops etc. The hotel is good value even though a little dated. The bathroom design was not great, but the bed was comfy and the room well-equiped. Staff were of course excellent as you'd expect in Thailand. The swimming pool was very good, clean and lots of chairs and good views. Unfortunately like most Thai hotels they change your towels every day even if you don't leave on the floor. Overall a good hotel for the price, just obviously not modern luxury.

Good located, friendly and attentive staffs from door guy, receptionist and cleaning lady. All are very polite, spacious room, good enough fitness centre and swimming looks good on top of the building. One thing not that pleasant is the view from my room's window is emergency stair case of next building and some residential flats on opposite side. So I won't be able to open the curtain as it might be looked thru from other side. Other than that, I enjoyed ky stay here for 4 days 3 nights.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel but ultimately location and price earn it 4 stars. Staff are friendly and check in and out was a very smooth process. We didn’t eat or drink here so can’t comment on those. The hotel is clean and maintained to a decent standard. It does show some signs of wear and tear but it’s a working hotel so that’s expected. The rooftop pool is a nice size and temperature and a lovely place to chill after a long day in the hot city. However they could really do with cleaning the glass around the edges. When i swam upto the edge to look over the city you’re basically greeted with really dirty glass that’s covered in grime so that’s a downer. The rooms are big, have mostly what you need (the only omission being an iron) and are cleaned daily. the bed was huge although it was simply two swingles joined which I know is pretty much an industry standard but I hate as there’s always that valley down the middle no matter how well they try to hide it. However, as others have said, the lighting is just inadequate and i kept finding myself going outside or to the underlighters in the bathroom to check whether my clothing items were the black or navy versions and it could be really simply remedied with a room lamp. As it is, there’s two tiny spots and then some uplighters behind the bed which create a really frustrating atmosphere. I never felt quite comfortable in the room although that’s probably more about me than the room - they really are decent sized and equipped on the whole. The location wins the 4 stars instead of 3. Locally there’s lots of really tasty places to eat, bakeries and cafes, restaurants and cute bars. Smalls the jazz bar was a particular highlight for us but there’s too many to mention here, just explore the area. It’s also easy to get around on grab bikes which we took pretty much everywhere. There’s a 7 eleven right on the corner outside too. There’s also the price, we paid just under £200 for 6 nights so it was an absolute bargain!

Stayed here for the 2nd time with my family, rooms nice and spacious, but surprisingly dark, not enough lighting and no reading lights. Front office staff very friendly and helpful, rooftop pool is great, gym is tiny. Breakfast is very nice - besides the artificial orange and pineapple juice, which are a big disappointment. So, actually 5 stars, but the lighting in the room and the breakfast juices make it only 4 stars for me. Still, will come again., as the location is very convenient for me. Thank you
